Project Overview
Kingston Cleaning Services was instructed to carry out specialist TR19 Grease extraction cleaning across various commercial sites throughout the UK. Significant grease deposits can accumulate within kitchen canopies, ductwork, risers and extraction systems, creating an increased fire risk and reducing extraction performance.
Regular TR19 cleaning helps businesses manage these risks while supporting fire safety responsibilities, insurance requirements and ongoing maintenance standards. To minimise disruption to day-to-day operations, the works were scheduled throughout the night, allowing each site to continue operating as normal during trading hours.
What We Did
Our team carried out thorough commercial kitchen extraction cleaning, removing built-up grease and contamination from accessible sections of the canopy, extraction system and associated components.
Removing heavy grease deposits helps reduce combustible material within the system while improving airflow, reducing odours and allowing extraction equipment to operate more efficiently. The works also support the ongoing maintenance and fire-risk management requirements associated with commercial kitchen environments.
Cleaning was completed overnight across the various national sites to keep disruption to a minimum. The TR19 process also provides documented evidence of the condition and cleaning of the extraction system, including photographic records that can support facilities managers, landlords, insurers and other responsible parties in demonstrating appropriate maintenance.
