During this recent high-level cladding cleaning project, the KCS team used our heated Reach & Wash system to safely remove heavy algae, grime and staining from the building’s exterior.

Cleaning Cladding Up to 80ft from the Ground

Using high-reach carbon-fibre poles and hot purified water, our operatives can clean cladding at heights of up to 80ft while remaining safely at ground level.

This removed the need for a MEWP on this particular site, helping us complete the work efficiently without obstructing access or disrupting the surrounding operational areas.

The Reach & Wash system is particularly well suited to buildings where conventional access equipment may be difficult or impractical to use, including sites with restricted access, soft landscaping, narrow spaces or busy pedestrian and vehicle routes.

Effective Cleaning Without Harsh Chemicals

As no harsh chemicals were needed, the method provided a more environmentally responsible way to restore the building’s exterior fabric while also helping protect the surrounding surfaces and landscaping.

The photographs show the contrast between the cleaned and untreated sections of the building. Years of algae and environmental build-up were lifted from the panels, revealing a noticeably cleaner and brighter finish underneath.
