Kingston Cleaning Services is proud to celebrate a record-breaking year for Dove House Hospice’s Strictly Learn to Dance, after the 2026 team raised an incredible £62,516.65 for the charity.
The total is the highest ever achieved in the event’s history and marks the end of an unforgettable journey for 24 dancers, including KCS Managing Director Sean Carrison and Operations Director Jamie Webb.
Twelve Weeks of Dedication
When Jamie and Sean first signed up for Strictly Learn to Dance, they knew the challenge would involve much more than performing at Hull City Hall.
Over 12 weeks, the dancers committed themselves to rehearsals, fundraising and ticket sales, while stepping well outside their comfort zones to support a charity that means so much to people throughout Hull and East Yorkshire.
Their hard work came together during a spectacular final performance, but the record-breaking fundraising total is the achievement that will make the greatest and most lasting difference.
A Record-Breaking Team Effort
Every member of the 2026 team played a part in making this year’s event such an extraordinary success. Together, the dancers demonstrated what can be achieved through determination, teamwork and the generous support of the local community.
- Twenty-four dancers completed the 12-week challenge
- The team raised a record-breaking £62,516.65
- Supporters donated, bought tickets and shared the fundraising campaign
- The final event celebrated the work of Dove House Hospice in spectacular style
We would also like to thank Janine and the mentors at Ballroom Blitz Dance Academy for guiding the dancers throughout their training and helping them reach the stage with confidence.
Proud of Jamie, Sean and Our Community
Everyone at Kingston Cleaning Services is incredibly proud of Jamie and Sean. Their footwork may have impressed on the night, but their dedication to the challenge and the cause behind it was an even greater achievement.
This fantastic result follows several other KCS fundraising activities for Dove House Hospice, including our recent charity pub-to-pub walk. We are proud to continue supporting an organisation that provides such important care to local people and their families.
Thank you to everyone who donated, shared the campaign, attended the show or cheered the dancers on. Your support helped make 2026 the most successful Strictly Learn to Dance year yet.
