Kingston Cleaning Services (KCS), the Hull-headquartered cleaning company that works with commercial and domestic clients throughout Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, has successfully won a competitive tender to deliver window cleaning services for the Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

The contract will run for five years during which time KCS’s highly trained and experienced operatives will deliver window cleaning services at Hull Royal Infirmary (plus associated sites in Hull) and Castle Hill Hospital in Cottingham, East Riding of Yorkshire. There is also the possibility of a further two-year extension once the five-year contract comes to an end.

KCS’s operatives will use a combination of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) and rope access to perform their specialist window cleaning service.

The NHS joins a number of other blue chip organisations within the growing portfolio of KCS. Other well-known and highly respected names representing a multitude of industry sectors include: Sewell Group, Nuffield Health, Wilmott Dixon Construction, Ashcourt, Humberside Police and Hull College.

KCS is a strong advocate of health and safety in all its practices and the company’s IOSH-trained managers conduct regular audits of each site to ensure its approach adheres strictly to the latest industry regulations and guidance.

In the wake of COVID-19, KCS has demonstrated why it has become one of the region’s most trusted and respected names in contract cleaning, with the creation of an enhanced set of cleaning guidelines that go as far as possible in eliminating the spread of the virus within commercial and domestic premises.
