Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Supervisor for our commercial cleaning team. The successful candidate will oversee daily cleaning operations within our clients premises, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety. Hours: Monday to Friday 0600-0800. 10 hours per week
Rate of Pay: £13.16ph
Valid DBS Certificate: Essential
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the company’s quality standards
- Lead, motivate, and support cleaning staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations
- Manage scheduling, assign tasks, and monitor team performance
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues or concerns promptly
- Ensure the proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies, adhering to health and safety protocols
- Liaise with clients to address specific requirements or feedback regarding cleaning services
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services, with previous supervisory experience preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple sites efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to lead a team effectively and liaise with clients
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to commercial cleaning environments
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or site requirements as needed
