Job Description
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong clerical skills and be confident using Microsoft Office applications.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office by providing essential administrative support and helping maintain efficient processes.
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 16 hours per week (flexible days and times to suit)
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage and organise files, documents, and records for easy retrieval.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, directing inquiries as necessary.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when required.
- Support the team with various clerical tasks as needed to ensure efficient workflow.
- Utilise Microsoft office for document creation, spreadsheets, and scheduling.
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using Xero
- Handle HR queries and send HR-related letters.
- Record minutes during meetings and manage new starter inductions.
- Maintain HR records and order uniforms.
- Ensure PPE is distributed and recorded.
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office is essential.
- Familiarity with Xero is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent typing skills and a keen eye for detail are required.
- A professional demeanour with effective communication skills is essential for this role.
