Project Overview
We carried out a full pressure-wash clean to all external cladding and completed a thorough wash-down of the Sarnafil roofing system. This approach restores a professional appearance by removing dirt, algae and pollution, helps prevent material degradation from mould, mildew and bird droppings, and supports the long-term integrity of the building envelope by reducing moisture risks. On the Sarnafil membrane specifically, removing contaminants preserves its waterproofing and UV resistance, extends the service life of the roof, and helps maintain manufacturer warranty compliance.
What We Did
We pressure-washed every cladded elevation, removing ingrained dirt, algae and pollution to restore a professional appearance and protect the fabric from mould, mildew and bird droppings. This proactive maintenance helps prevent corrosion, staining and decay, supports the building envelope by minimising moisture ingress, and aligns with warranty and compliance expectations. On the Sarnafil roof, we undertook a controlled pressure-wash to lift moss, bird droppings and other contaminants, preserving the membrane’s waterproofing and UV resistance, extending its service life, and supporting manufacturer warranty requirements (e.g. Sika Sarnafil).
