Project Overview
Kingston Cleaning Services was appointed to carry out external cleaning at the prestigious Aura Innovation Centre in Hessle, part of the University of Hull. The building, known for its sustainable design and cutting-edge research facilities, had accumulated significant organic build-up on its cladding, steelwork and external panels. The aim of the project was to restore the building’s exterior to a clean, professional standard that reflected its forward-thinking ethos and created a positive first impression for visitors and staff alike.
What We Did
Our specialist team undertook a full external clean using a combination of pressure washing, heated reach and wash systems, and MEWP access. The job required careful planning due to complex access points and varying surface materials. All work was carried out safely and efficiently by our IPAF-trained operatives. From high-level cladding and overhangs to lower-level panelling and walkways, every surface was brought back to life, removing algae, grime and weather staining. The transformation delivered a significant visual uplift and ensured the building’s exterior matches the innovation happening within.
