Project Overview
Finlays, a major producer and supplier of tea and coffee and a trusted partner to leading UK retailers and foodservice brands, required high-level cleaning across their main production and warehouse areas at their Hull facility. As a food and beverage manufacturer operating to strict hygiene standards, maintaining clean overhead structures is essential to prevent dust, debris and contaminants from affecting product quality. To avoid any disruption to day-to-day operations, all cleaning work needed to be completed safely through the night while production lines were offline.
What We Did
We carried out a full high-level clean using ATEX-rated vacuum systems, ensuring compliance with the strict safety requirements of food manufacturing environments. Our operatives removed accumulated dust and debris from ceilings, overhead pipework, ducting, lighting and structural steelwork. This work helps prevent contamination risks, protects employee health and reduces potential fire hazards linked to dust build-up. By improving cleanliness in these difficult-to-reach areas, we helped Finlays maintain the high hygiene, safety and operational standards expected within the food production industry, without impacting their daily output.
