Kingston Cleaning Services were appointed by Sewell FM to carry out a full external elevation clean at Wilberforce Health Centre on Storey Street.
The works were completed at night to minimise disruption to the doctors surgery, surrounding businesses and the public. Due to the city centre location, full road closures were put in place, with MEWP access used to safely reach the upper elevations of the building.
Years of weathering had left dirt, staining and pollution on the external surfaces, so the project required a careful cleaning process using specialist cleaning chemicals, hand cleaning and a light heated pressure washing system.
What We Did
Our team carried out a full external elevation clean across the building, using MEWP access to safely work at height.
A specialist cleaning chemical was applied to the affected surfaces to help break down the build-up caused by weathering and pollution. The surfaces were then cleaned by hand before being rinsed using light heated pressure washing equipment.
With full road closures and traffic management in place, the work was completed safely and efficiently through the night, helping to restore a cleaner, brighter and more professional appearance to Wilberforce Health Centre.
