Project Overview
Kingston Cleaning Services was appointed to carry out a specialist external clean at Nuffield Health The Devonshire Gym in Plymouth, covering the building’s external cladding, paving and tennis courts. As this is a busy health and fitness venue, the work was carefully staged in two phases to ensure there was no downtime for the club and no disruption to members while the cleaning programme was completed. The aim was to restore the exterior surfaces, improve the overall appearance of the site and bring heavily weathered areas back to a much cleaner, fresher standard.
What We Did
Our team completed the external cladding clean using pressure washing equipment with MEWP access, allowing us to safely reach and clean the higher sections of the building. The paving was cleaned using a Whirlaway system to lift built-up dirt and surface staining, while the tennis courts were first cleared of loose debris before being lightly pressure washed to refresh the playing surface without causing damage. The results were excellent, bringing the site back to a near new-looking condition and helping secure an ongoing annual planned preventative maintenance clean.
