Project Overview
Kingston Cleaning Services was commissioned to carry out an external cladding clean at Nuffield Health in Telford. As a busy, member-focused gym and wellness facility, it was essential that the cleaning process did not interfere with day-to-day operations. Working closely with on-site management, KCS developed a cleaning plan that allowed for seamless execution during operational hours without disrupting the experience for staff or gym-goers. The project required safe, effective cleaning at height across the building’s exterior elevations, including branded signage, all while ensuring a professional and tidy appearance throughout.
What We Did
The external cladding and signage were thoroughly cleaned using a specialist cladding cleaning chemical, foamed onto all surfaces to break down ingrained dirt and biological growth. After allowing adequate dwell time for maximum effectiveness, all treated areas were rinsed down using our van-mounted heated pressure washing system, which ensures a deep clean while being gentle on surface materials. Access to high-level sections of the building was safely achieved using a Z45 diesel MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform), allowing our operatives to work efficiently at height.
The results were immediately visible. Years of pollution staining, algae, and grime were removed, dramatically improving the building’s kerb appeal and protecting its external fabric.
