Project Overview
Kingston Cleaning Services was instructed to carry out an internal clean of Humberside Fire and Rescue Service’s controlled fire training tower in Grimsby. This is a purpose built training structure used for live exercises, with internal surfaces that naturally become heavily marked over time. Residue can build up across walls, ceilings and structural areas, so a full internal wash down forms an important part of keeping the facility in good working order between training sessions. The requirement for this job was clear: complete a full internal pressure wash and leave the tower cleaner and ready for continued use, while working flexibly around scheduled training activity on site.
What We Did
We completed a full internal pressure wash using high pressure water jetting equipment, focusing on the areas with the heaviest build up. Work was carried out across multiple levels of the tower, including platforms, walkways and internal structural surfaces, with operatives positioned safely to reach higher sections and awkward angles. The job was delivered around fire training times, helping the site continue its schedule while the internal clean was completed. Our specialist equipment and vehicle supported the works throughout, ensuring the pressure washing could be carried out effectively and efficiently within the agreed window.
